RUN LEADERS

My running journey has had its fair share of ups and downs since my first half marathon back in 2010! I was a fairly casual runner until I secured a spot in the London Marathon in 2018—on what turned out to be a very warm April day.

Since then, I’ve completed eight more marathons, each one bringing new challenges, lessons, and moments of joy. For me, running is about the freedom, the headspace, and the chance to push myself—physically and mentally.

Now, I’m passionate about giving back and supporting others in the running community. Whether it’s sharing advice, pacing someone to a new PB, or just being a friendly face on the start line—I’m here for it.

I started running during lockdown to help improve my mental health and I haven’t stopped since! All that extra energy had to go somewhere ☺️ In 2023, I trained for and completed my first marathon, and it was a game changer.

Running has become more than just a way to feel better - it's a passion. I love helping and coaching others on their own journeys, whether they’re just starting out or chasing new goals. There’s nothing better than seeing someone surprise themselves with what they can achieve.

I started running during the pandemic as a way to get outside and clear my head. What began with a simple 5K turned into a run-walk marathon in 2021—and I haven’t looked back since! A few years later, I’ve now completed seven marathons, including a Boston Marathon qualifier—soon to be my eighth!

I initially ran for the outdoors, the endorphins, and to support my physical and mental health. But what’s kept me going is the community, the friendships, the race day vibes, and of course, the post-run second brekkie!

I know what it’s like to go from being a non-runner to a runner. If I can support even one person on their running journey, it’s my way of giving back to the community that has given me so much.
