Athlete of the Month

November 2024

The Athlete of the month, for the month November is.... Christa Cain!

Let’s just start off by saying she achieved something insane.

Breaking the female marathon, Isle of Man record, recently at Valencia marathon. Finishing it in an impressive 2:39:10.

The previous record was set by Brenda Walker and had been standing for 31 years. Give it a google, you’ll enjoy the news articles that you find.

She’s seriously levelled up with year. Running Berlin marathon in a speedy 2:42. After she finished, she came up to me and said she doesn’t think she fully emptied

the tank and could have gone faster. Just imagine the look on my face when she told her coach this! We both knew she could go faster and that she did.

The coolest part is that she hasn’t peaked and can still get quicker. Who knows what the future bring, but there’s only one way to find out and that’s by giving it everything we’ve got!

This year hasn’t always been smooth sailing for Christa. I always say that running is the best form of therapy and it’s been impressive to see her bounce back from life’s challenges. A couple of niggles here and there. A slightly naughty calf, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. It’s simple, what you put in, is what you get out.

She has put in an immense amount of work in. Week in and week out. Since I left the corporate world, 5 years ago. I no longer get an annual bonus - Results and performances like this are my bonus! Oh so rewarding!

She has a big first of the year coming up with;

  • Brighton Marathon

  • Best Athletics Training Camp in Cyprus

  • London Marathon

Before setting her sights on

  • Copenhagen Marathon

  • Chicago Marathon

Keep up that winning attitude! I know there is more in the tank. But I bloody hope you had a massive post-race pizza to celebrate this epic achievement.

Christa Cain, the record holder!

BOOM SHAKALAKA

ONWARDS AND UPWARDS!!

Who will be the athlete of the month for December??

Coach Nick 💙

Spent some time going through a UK forum where players discussed online clubs with a focus on real usability rather than surface-level features. The conversation leaned into how platforms hold up over time—whether navigation stays smooth and whether design choices support rather than distract. One reply mentioned you could take a look at a review of cashboxcasino.uk in the UK for additional perspective. It wasn’t emphasized heavily, just included as a side note. That balanced tone made the discussion feel more reliable overall.

Hello, nice to be here with everyone. I recently visited just to take a look at how the platform is set up. The site seems to include Casiroom several sections that are grouped in a way that makes navigation fairly straightforward. By gradually exploring the categories, it becomes easier to understand the layout and see what areas are available.😀

A colleague in London mentioned this site during a coffee break, saying he’d managed to turn his luck around recently. I didn’t expect much, given my recent results, but I decided to test it myself. After joining through https://boujeerestaurantandbar.co.uk/, I found the experience straightforward and easy to navigate. The session started off slowly and I nearly logged out, yet patience paid off when a strong sequence came through, recovering my losses and allowing me to wrap up the evening ahead.

Nice feature, thanks for sharing.

A motivating and inspiring piece like Athlete of the Month — Stuart Souter is always great to see — especially when it’s focused, easy to read, and full of real encouragement that people across the United Kingdom can genuinely appreciate without overcomplicating things. Stories about personal achievement and dedication feel way more uplifting than most generic content floating around. I like how the author highlights real effort and passion without any unnecessary fuss. Sometimes I bookmark random features just to come back later, the same way I once saved a link like https://www.casino-sistersite.co.uk/authors/kate-taylor/ during a general browsing session — not for the name, but because it popped up in a totally unexpected context and stuck…

As someone who follows the game closely in England, I often wondered how clubs move between tiers and why certain matchups feel so different. While reading about the season, UK Ice Hockey League Structure appeared in a discussion and clarified the system for me. Now I appreciate the flow of British ice hockey with far more context.
